Review

iCoolPlayer is a media player that allows us to reproduce a wide variety of audio and video formats. Although still in development, it has a number of functions that make it a good alternative among the free players available. To begin with, this free application is not only a player, but a set of tools combining several utilities to handle different audio formats. With a good playback quality, this application supports MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, FLV, and many others. It can also reproduce video files, among them MPG, AVI, WMV and FLV. It has an audio converter that works fast and efficiently, allowing us to convert from 16 audio formats, into more than ten widely used file types.

An inbuilt utility to record audio can be easily used to record all sounds that are being played on our computer, giving us the option to set most parameters of the resulting file. The program also has a CD ripper and burner, and a lyrics editor as well, where we can paste the lyrics of a song and synchronize it to sing along like in a karaoke. In addition, it has a media library wherein we can organize our music and movies collection, and also have access to online radio stations and TV channels. The program's interface is really cool and modern, and we can change its look through various skins.
Advantages
  • Good sound quality.
  • Attractive interface.
  • Includes set of handy utilities.
  • Free.
Disadvantages
  • Not found.
